[TRIVANDRUM]

The name means ‘the place of the sacred serpent’ located on the seven hills so gorgeously placed with several places and unique buildings to indicate its heritage and  ages of the Princely state. Previous, this place was the capital of Travancore and now is capital of Kerala. Varkala

 Basically, Kerala is surrounded by numerous beaches and one of the most wonderful beach resorts is Varkala, in this region. The nearby interesting spots are Janardhana swami temple & Sivagiri.

Neyyar Dam and wildlife sanctuary

This spot is surrounded by wildlife sanctuary and filled with natures bliss around. The lake here has a dam named Neyyar and you have boating facilities here. Around this reservoir elephants are found often as this spot is of wildlife sanctuary. Moreover, after some kms of trek you have a splendered location of Meenmutty waterfalls and Kombaikani waterfalls on the upper reaches of this reservoir. A magnificent spot to step in to live.
